About Dr. Clayton

Dr. Clayton is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has more than 20 years of experience in mental and behavioral health.

Expertise

He most recently worked in private practice, providing psychiatric consultations to medical and surgical patients at Providence Health and offering forensic psychiatric services. He also served as Providence Health’s chief of staff and a member of its board of trustees.

Background

An honors graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, Brad Clayton, MD, earned his medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. He then completed a psychiatry residency at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he also served as chief resident. After his residency, Dr. Clayton completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship at USC.
