Alana Hicks, MD, provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages in the Midlands.

Dr. Hicks is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association with certifications in advanced cardiovascular and basic life support. During her residency, she gained extensive experience in providing primary gynecologic care; antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care; and diagnosing, treating and managing disorders of urogenital tract and breast, menstrual and reproductive endocrine disorders and infertility, as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgery techniques. 

Background

Dr. Hicks graduated cum laude from Michigan State University in East Lansing with a bachelor’s degree in physiology and earned her medical degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine in Mount Pleasant. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
