Board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, Dr. Seawell has experience providing a broad range of health care services, specifically the management of complex pulmonary conditions and treatment of critically ill patients. Her extensive training also includes performing advanced procedures, such as bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and tube thoracostomy.

Dr. Seawell graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolinas in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She then completed an internal medicine residency at Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, serving as chief resident, and went on to finish her training with a pulmonary/critical-care fellowship at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
