Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Megan has more than 10 years of nursing experience, specifically in intensive care and outpatient cardiology settings. During her extensive training and continued education to become a family nurse practitioner, Megan gained additional experience in women’s health, pediatric primary care and adult medicine. She also performed skin biopsies and skin tag removals, joint injections, Pap smears, and simple and complex incision and drainage, as well as interpreted electrocardiograms and inserted and removed intrauterine devices.

Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went on to graduate from Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina, with a master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner.
